Château Lynch-Moussas Review

Château Lynch Moussas 2007: A classic Pauillac Bordeaux with generous length

This is an excellent Bordeaux wine from Pauillac grand cru classé, Château Lynch Moussas and the modest 2007 vintage.  Overcoming an awkward youth, this wine has put on weight to reveal classic Pauillac characters. It illustrates the benefit of patience with these medium bodied Bordeaux styles.  Its aroma reminds primarily of mature blackcurrants.  The palate is medium bodied and its defining feature is generous length on the finish and plump dark fruits.  This wine is in its prime now and will suit current drinking.  Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points). Website: Château Lynch Moussas. Tasted: August 2024.
