Château Beau-Site 2018

Château Beau-Site 2008

Château Beau-Site is a very good Bordeaux that performs at a lower grand cru classé level. I have reviewed a number of prior vintages – please note that most of my older reviews are very brief – which I have referenced below. This Château Beau-Site is from the 2008 vintage in Saint Estèphe. It proved to be perfectly stored with a pristine unleached cork and presented wonderfully as a consequence.  It has aromas of granite and blackcurrants. The palate is medium bodied with great length on the finish.  This is in its prime drinking window.  Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 92 points). Website: Borie Manoux. Tasted: July 2023.
