The “McW Reserve 660” is from McWilliams, the Hilltops wine region is in New South Wales north of Canberra and “660” is presumably a reference to its bin number. In the glass, this is another deeply coloured wine, with aromas and flavours of ripe black fruits. The palate is dry, the tannins filmy and firm but not overly so, whilst the fruit is ripe and approachable. This cabernet sauvignon can be approached now with a good decant, or cellared for five years. Rating: Good. Abv: 14.0%. Price: $24. Source: Sample.
