Windowrie Family Reserve Pinot Noir 2015

This is not bad; it’s the second or third pinot noir I’ve had from the Orange region where I’ve thought there’s something in this.  From a vineyard planted in 1999 at an altitude of 950 metres, this is a first release of this label for Windowrie.  In the glass, the 2015 vintage pinot noir has attractive estery aromatics of fresh raspberries and reducrrants, with clove and watercress in the background.  The palate is fresh and enjoyable.
