Graves is an underrated appellation just outside of Bordeaux. This wine though is a bit of a journeyman wine, despite its consumption in the rather scenic setting of Annecy’s old town. From the highly regarded 2010 vintage, it ekes out flavours of blackcurrant in a pleasant enough fashion. The acid’s a bit high though for balance, and the palate seemed stretched. Acceptable
