Punt Road Pinot Noir Napoleone Vineyard 2014

Some good things are happening down at Punt Road in the Yarra Valley.  Gee, this is a very aromatic pinot noir; it draws you in closer and closer.  Cherries, plum, spice, bacon and pepper burst forth from the glass, with some nuanced whole bunch characters at the end.  The palate has between medium and long length, and a lovely balance with enough acidity to bind together the cherry dominant flavours.  This is a very attractive style of pinot noir and a good release.  Good to Very Good
