Yering Station Chardonnay 2011

This is really quite an enjoyable chardonnay from Yering Station.  It has aromatics that remind of almond meal, nuts and yellow nectarine.  The palate has very good length and some acidity frames the balanced flavours of yellow nectarine, cashew and lemons.  It is quite the step up form the “Village” wine in the 2011 vintage and is recommended.

Rating: Good, Abv: 12%, Price: $30s, Source: sample, Vendors: http://www.wine-searcher.com/, Website: http://www.yering.com, Tasted: 2014
