Viognier seems to show a bit in the Canberra district, achieving a certain balance there. The 2013 vintage of Lark Hill’s viognier has fairly subtle (for viognier) aromatics of talc, stones, apricot flowers and pollen. The palate is dry, with a full body, medium acid and flavours reminding of green mango and honeydew melon, and the alcohol in check. Medium length on the finish. A lovely wine. Good
