I thought this a pretty good sort of a chardonnay from Coombe Farm in the Yarra Valley. A pale lemon colour in the glass, it has aromatics that remind of stones, with some lemon and hazelnut. On the palate, this is a restrained style of chardonnay. There are expressions of peach and lemon, but moreish hazelnuts feature. Quite enjoyable really. Overall, a good quality chardonnay that appeals for its balance, restrained flavours while retaining depth and some nice length. Good
