Coombe Farm Pinot Gris 2012

Water-white in colour, this pinot gris from the Yarra Valley has aromatics of quite intense lemon coupled with some spicy pear.  The palate is dry, a little warm at times despite its alcohol not being high, with medium acid, and a certain width unaccompanied by depth.  Slightly sour lemon pith flavours predominate.  Overall, an acceptable quality wine that is ready to drink now, if not an entirely enjoyable one if I am to be perfectly honest.  Acceptable
