Santa Cristina Toscana IGT 2010

This wine is a blend of sangiovese, cabernet, merlot and syrah.  While not unpleasant, its convincing attributes were few.  Aromatically, it speaks of raspberries, redcurrants and leather.  On the palate, it is a balanced wine, but tastes somewhat hollowed out.  It has short length and redcurrant flavours.  Suitable for immediate drinking, this is an acceptable no frills style of wine that reminds of an AOC Bordeaux or a South-Eastern Australian commercial blend.  Acceptable
