Kingston Estate Pinot Gris 2012

This pinot gris from Kingston Estate is bright and near water-white in colour.  Aromatically, it expresses a medium intensity note of pears and lemons.  On the palate, loose knit acidity and quite a light body (for pinot gris) frame a lemon dominant flavour profile.  Lemon pith and pears are there too, as well as a light textural viscosity.  This is not particularly complex offering, but at $14, it is well made and good value for those seeking a lighter style and crisply citrus flavoured pinot gris.  Acceptable to Good
