Rockford Frugal Farmer Grenache Mourvedre 2009

The 2009 vintage of the “Frugal Farmer” is in between a pale and medium intensity ruby in colour – almost Beaujolais like.  The aroma is a medium intensity expression of jube like fruit, sweet cherries and soy.  The palate has low-medium acidity, low tannins, a soft body and texture, and sweet cherries.  It finishes somewhat tart, has short length and displays no real complexity.  Suitable for casual quaffing.
