Pannier Champagne 2000

This is a very good vintage Champagne from Pannier, though its stockists in Australia would appear to be few if Google is to be believed.  Golden in colour, it has an attractive yeasty aroma of lemons, hazelnuts, stones and minerals.  The fine bubbles on the palate are supported by firm acidity, good length and a minerality.  Excellent drinking, and worth seeking out.  88 points+ (very good)
