For a very young pinot noir, this wine is quite interesting. It’s from “Place of Changing Winds”, a small producer in Macedon in Victoria, Australia. The picture shown is of the back label, which is less aesthetically pleasing, but has the key information in this case. The wine has aroma of rhubarb and spice, with a portion of whole bunch possible. It reminds a little of an Oregon style. The palate is medium to full bodied, with notes of pastille and potpourri.  An elegant finish completes the impression. Drink this wine over the next decade. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 91 points). Website: Place of Changing Winds. Tasted: September 2025.  Like: Subscribe.
