Angullong’s 2013 pinot grigio from the Orange wine region is a pale intensity lemon colour in the glass. It has muted aromatics of lemon, stones, grass, white peach and stone fruit kernels. Its palate is dry, with a light petillance, high acid, and medium intensity flavours of white nectarine and lemon. A saline character drifts into the medium length finish. The acidity is perhaps a bit racy and the lemon notes a little too tart for me, but it’s mostly a balanced wine. Acceptable to Good
