This is a very typical Fleurie Beaujolais from Pierre Ferraud et Fils in France. It has a mineral aroma of red fruits and raspberry. The palate reminds of stones and minerals and has a touch of floral character. This is not a wine where you might wonder where it could have been made. It’s a typical and regional reflection of Fleurie and gamay. Drink it over the next couple of years. Review Rating: Good (★★★, 87 points). Website: P Ferraud & Fils. Tasted: January 2026.
