L’Héritier Grand-Puy Ducasse Review

L’Héritier de Grand-Puy Ducasse 2018 Review

This is a very good second wine from Château Grand-Puy Ducasse in Pauillac in Bordeaux. The strong 2018 vintage reveals itself in this wine, with warmer season aromas of dark cherry and plums set against cedar.  The palate is medium bodied and the tannins are fleshy. Yet the wine is also resolutely firm and minerally.  Some dried currants emerge with time. This is a very good wine that will suit drinking over the next 6 to 8 years.  Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 90 points). Website: Château Grand-Puy Ducasse. Tasted: January 2026.  Like: Subscribe.
