This wine review is of Catena’s malbec from the 2022 vintage. It’s a widely available Mendoza malbec from Argentina. It has aromas of smoke and sweet dark fruits. The palate has some raisin character, but not overly so. It finishes with savoury dark fruit characters and firm tannjns. Drink this wine over the next 5 to 6 years.
