This wine is a lovely expression of Brouilly and gamay from negociant producer Georges Duboeuf. The 2023 vintage is the current release. For the less familiar, Brouilly is one of the Beaujolais “cru” villages. The wine has minerally aromas of smoke, stones and crisp raspberries. The palate is dry, medium bodied and finishes with an attractive chalky texture. Ready to drink now, this will please most. Review Rating: Good to Very Good (★★★☆, 88 points).
