This is an interesting third wine from top producer, Cos d’Estournel in Bordeaux. I recently reviewed the 2019 vintage, a better vintage for the region. The 2021 vintage of this wine however is just as good. From the Médoc, it has aromas of dark fruit, cassis, licorice and a little game. The palate is dark fruited and tannic. There’s great length on the finish. This is a very good wine from the cooler 2021 vintage. Drink it over the next decade. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 91 points). Website: Cos d’Estournel. Tasted: 2026. Like: Subscribe.
