Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz Review

Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz 2007 Review

This is an excellent Barossa Valley shiraz from Glaetzer.  Labelled as the “Bishop”, at 19 years of age, it has aromas of herbs, baked mulberries and spice.  The palate is full bodied with generous fruit and a peppery finish.  It is balanced and in its drinking prime. Not bad for a $30 wine at release. Drink over the next 4 to 7 years. Review Rating: Very Good (★★★★, 91 points). Website: Glaetzer Wines. Tasted: August 2025.  Like: Subscribe
