This is a very good Priorat from Alvaro Palacios and the 2021 vintage. Priorat typically has the headiness of garnacha tempered by a minerally, savoury character and tannic structure. The “Camins del Priorat” has aromas of dark cherry and Christmas cake. The palate is full bodied and the alcohol is 14.5%. Low to medium acidity and a fleshy texture complement attractive saturated and rich red cherry fruit through the mid palate. Long length on the finish confirms this is a very good quality wine.
