Huntington Estate Mudgee Shiraz 2013

This is a classically Australian expression of warm climate shiraz.  The wine is deeply coloured, with rich aromas of chocolate, dark plum and soy.  The palate is fruity with cedar, mid weight tannins, plenty of stuffing and quite long length on the finish.  This a style that has broad appeal and would be terrifically easy to put on the table.  Rating: Good to Very Good. Abv: 13.5%. Price: $26. Source: Sample.
