The All Saints Estate Pierre is a red Bordeaux style blend of cabernet sauvignon (48%), merlot (35%) and cabernet franc (17%). The fruit is from Rutherglen. I’ll be brief, as I wasn’t taken by this wine. It opens to a leafy aroma, bay leaf mostly. The palate has polish and pastille reminders, while the structure seems to have fallen out. (Abv: 14.5%, Region: Rutherglen, Rating: Acceptable, Drink: now to 2025, Tasted: June, 2017, Source: Sample)
