This is a delicious chardonnay release from Toolangi in the Yarra Valley.  The fruit is from Dixon’s Creek and the wine made by highly regarded winemaker, David Bicknell, at Oakridge.  This may be the best release yet I have tasted of a Toolangi chardonnay.  It has aromatics of struck match, cashew and minerals.  The palate has fresh and racy acidity, with good length and balance.  Recommended.
