Yeringberg Cabernet 2011

Yeringberg’s 2011 shiraz was good (reviewed here), so I hoped that their 2011 cabernet sauvignon might be good too.  My logic is choosing good producers (which Yeringberg is) in bad years (which 2011 is).  A cru bourgeois in style, the 2011 Yeringberg cabernet has aromatics of blackcurrant and earth.  The palate is balanced with fresh acidity.  Classy Yarra Valley cabernet.
