Apple cider in Australia would appear to have come some way from the horrid sickly sweet style that I recall from university days. Here’s one spotted on a brief trip to the Yarra Valley that’s pretty good. Its aromatics are yeasty, and almost beer like. The palate is dry, crisp and slightly floral. Good
