I recall tasting a Sally’s Hill Pyrenees cabernet sauvignon a couple of years ago and thought it was pretty good. Â Their cabernet franc tasted here is pretty good too, so that’s two from two. Â The 2009 vintage cabernet franc has aromatics of red plums and cedar. Â The palate is quite ripe but not overripe, with medium length, some slightly rustic tannins and a depth of red plum flavours. Â This is a balanced cabernet franc of real interest.
