Two wines impressed tasted by the glass. Sometimes I don’t have a wine notepad which has the rather foreseeable corollary of being sociable. A 2012 Gravillas Sous Les Cailloux des Grillons from the Côtes de Brian Vin de Pays/IGP in the Languedoc had some garrigue like interest. I don’t think I’ve ever come across this IGP before here or abroad, yet here it is sold locally by the glass! The 2011 Matteo Correggia Roero nebbiolo from Piemonte left a particularly good impression of fruit, structure and drinkability.
