Kingston Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

This Kingston Estate cabernet sauvignon has some interest for the modest price of $14.

A medium(+) intensity ruby in colour, it opened to youthful aromatics of cloves, blackberry, blueberry, spice, earth and bay leaf, the latter its perhaps most dominant character.  On the palate medium length and a chewy texture, filled out by some flavours of wood, bay leaf and young fruit make this wine perfectly acceptable drinking for the price.  Acceptable to Good
