Blind River Sauvignon Blanc 2009

This wine is a very good classy effort for the frequently one dimensional sauvignon blanc.  To my taste, it is rather “Sancerre” in style.  10% barrel fermented, this wine had an aroma of soft grass, and a palate with a roundness and surprising length.  Very good.  87 points.
