Poggerino Chianti Classico 2007

Though vintage variation is apparent, Poggerino is a relatively safe bet in the sometimes variable world of Chianti Classico.  An aroma of dusty cherries.  Nice balance and length on the palate, with tannins, but not a dense wine.  85 points.
